Corporate work
Being on a few in-house corporate graphic design teams, I've come to appreciate the corporate structure and boundaries. While some designers may call it restricting, I consider it a challenge. This type of graphic design is often in a template-based, pre-established company guideline-driven environment. It sounds dry, but it gives a platform for the designer to begin on, which does help in the creative process. The structured design is necessary to convey the image of the company. Even within these boundaries, every company that I've worked at has encouraged the designer to still flex some creative muscle.
